Art Tour highlights:​

 

• The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA), Africa's largest collection of African art, housed in an architectural marvel of repurposed grain silos

• Galleries for contemporary art – so many dotted around the creative precincts of the city, ready to delight you with the startling, entertaining, thought-provoking and deeply moving

• The South African National Gallery, offering brilliantly juxtaposed contemporary and historical works and artefacts from Africa

• A Woodstock graffiti walking tour, where you can see the part that street art plays in the transformation of this industrial area into the Mother City's creative hub

• Cape Malay art exhibition in the Bo-Kaap, depicting the struggles of the Cape Malay people and their contributions to South African culture and society

• The Norval Foundation in the Constantia winelands, housing modern art, including large-scale installations and sculpture in its interactive sculpture garden
