• The Cape Floral Kingdom, a World Heritage site and one of the most botanically rich spots on the planet, boasting 9 800 plant species

• Wildlife spotting: Look out for chacma baboons, zebras, ostriches, Cape fur seals and eland, the largest gazelle in the world
